Working in conjunction with appointed patent attorneys, Urquart-Dykes and Lord (UDL) a number of recent patent applications have been submitted for both single and dual motor multi speed transmission systems specifically for the Electric Vehicle market with significant USP in respect of shift refinement and simplicity. System Dynamic Modelling for the designs has recently been commissioned with presentation to the market targeted for 2nd quarter 2020.
The innovative dual motor system will offer redundancy provision ideally suited for marine and aviation applications.
